What does GetToGettin mean? It usually means it’s time to do the thing we’ve been thinkin or talkin about, whether we’re ready or not.  Things in motion stay in motion, so start moving. In short, it means it’s time to get off your ass and do the work.

The work can be joyous, but usually it is only necessary.  Don’t get hung up something being fun or enjoyable, 95% of the time you’re doing things you don’t want to do that are necessary.  My wife is not a fan of me telling our kids this, but she misses the part where I tell them the other 5% is the good stuff and totally worth it.

I’ve used the phrase Get To Gettin as long as I can remember, I’m sure I picked it up from my Dad or maybe my Sister. I definnatly didn’t hear it from my Mom, she Gets To Gettin without saying a word; talkin about a thing is not her thing.

This site is a small representation of what’s in my head, manifested through deeds. You will probably be offended and entertained in equal spades, if I could manage a better balance I would. I hope this site helps you.
